Homecare Services

Help when you need it after an
accident or injury

Home and Community Support Services

Solora is one of the organisations chosen to deliver Home and Community Support Services for ACC across New Zealand. We work with a network of registered homecare providers who have been providing high-quality care at home for many years.

Our homecare services help you live safely and comfortable at home after an accident or injury, and also provide ongoing support if you have a long-term condition or disability.

Our health professionals will talk with you and your whānau to understand your situation and the specific support services you need. Being based in local communities around New Zealand, they are experienced at working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

We organise for a trained homecare provider with the right skills and experience to provide the care and support you need.

“Living in a rural seaside village with three young children would have been a real challenge without homecare.”

How we can help

Through our network of providers, we offer homecare, attendant care and, in some cases childcare, for people with short-term, long-term or serious injuries. We can tailor a homecare package to suit your needs.

Staying independent

If you have a long-term condition such as a spinal injury, we can provide an individual homecare and personal care package to help you be as independent as possible. We offer high-quality care and support you and your whānau can trust.

Enjoying every day

If you have had an accident which has left you or a family member with a traumatic brain injury then together we can put a plan in place to help with everyday living. We can assist with homecare and personal care like grooming, coaching activities and help to stay involved in the community.

Comfort in your home

If you have had an injury like a fall and wonder how you are going to cope at home while recovering then we can create a personalised homecare plan that includes attendant care to help you shower and dress. We can also help with shopping, cooking, cleaning and the washing.

Looking after your children

The world doesn’t stop when you have an accident or injury. You still need to look after your children and get them to and from school. We can help with homecare that includes, cleaning, shopping, cooking, washing and childcare.
